How to fix a problem with your Office license?
To note: We strongly recommend that you try method 1 first and if it doesn’t work for you then go to method 2 and finally if it doesn’t work for you either follow the steps below.
Step 1. Open the Windows command prompt with administrator rights.

2nd step. Type or copy / paste below command on cmd prompt and press keyboard Enter button

Step 3. Copy / paste another command and press again Enter from your keyboard
OfficeC2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13801.20266
Step 4. The above commands start the product update process and may downgrade or upgrade your installed version of Microsoft Office.
To note: The update process will depend on internet speed. In our case, it took about 5-7 minutes. The duration may vary in your case.

How do I turn off Microsoft Office updates?
This is a very important and mandated task once you have completed the above process. We need to turn off Office updates.
Follow the two procedures given below:
Turn off Office updates from any of the Microsoft applications
- Open any MS Office application like Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook etc.
- Move towards File menu and select Account from the given list
- Now under Product information, you will see Office update options
- Click on it and select Disable updates
Turn off Office updates from the Windows Settings app
- hurry Win + I to launch the Windows Settings application (Windows 10)
- Click on Advanced options in the Windows update page
- Switch off toggle button Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows
