If you’ve managed to get your hands on a TurboGrafx-16 Mini, you might be looking for a wireless controller option: and as usual, 8BitDo has exactly what you need. Today, the company unveiled a new wireless gamepad designed to work with the miniature retro console. It is available in three different colors – inspired by the original TurboGrafx-16 and its European and Japanese counterparts – has a built-in home button and an estimated battery life of 20 hours.
If 8BitDo sounds familiar to you, it’s because the company has made a name for itself by launching a wide range of solid aftermarket controllers, especially in the retro space. This includes wireless options for other mini consoles and even game controllers small enough to fit on your keychain. The TurboGrafx-16 Mini, meanwhile, is technically available now, although shipments have been delayed due to the pandemic.
The new wireless TurboGrafx are available for $ 24.99 and are scheduled to start shipping on May 20.
