The update for iPhone Y iPad, iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7, is now available to download and install on our devices.
With iOS 15 already presented and around the corner, predictably with the arrival of the new iPhone in September, there is little left to iOS 14. But that doesn’t make Manzana do not keep releasing operating system updates.
In fact, iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 they were not at all unexpected updates. So much so that I already know they knew some news that would come with these updates and today, July 19, 2021, they are already available to download and install on our devices, and we will tell you their news.
These are what’s new in iOS 14.7:
We start with a novelty related to the latest Apple launch: the Battery pack. This update brings to the iPhone the support to be able to use this MagSafe External Battery in them from today.
ios 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 also adds the Air quality function to the operating system’s native Weather and Maps app, although only in Spain, Canada, South Korea, France, Italy and the Netherlands. Not only that, but it also gives us the ability to manage HomePod timers directly from the Home app.
In addition, some improvements and error solutions are added both in the operating system in general and in some apps such as Apple Music, solving some errors that could be annoying.
As usual, unless you have automatic updates activated, you will have to update to this version manually. To do this, you only have to access the System Settings and, access Software Update, and choose Download and Install.
Once this is done, our iPhone or iPad will start downloading the update. And, after a while, and once you have downloaded it, it will proceed to install it on your device. What do you think of the news in this update? Will you wait to install the update on your iPhone or iPad?
