Although there are several ways to take a screenshot if you are using Windows 10, but in this article we will show you how you can take a screenshot with two different methods as follows.
- Take a screenshot with Biopsy tool
- Take a screenshot with the keyboard PrtScn key

In Windows 10, there is a built-in app available called, Biopsy tool.
User can easily launch it and take screenshot in different modes (freeform capture, rectangular capture, window capture and full screen capture), then save it to desired location.
Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1. Launch the capture tool in Windows 10. Go to Windows Search (Win + S) and type, capture tool and click on the given result.
2nd step. Choose the appropriate mode. I prefer, “Rectangular cut“
Step 3. After that click on New capture tool option.
By the time you click New, the screen will be faded, which means you can use your mouse and drag to the part you want to capture.
Once you are done, the captured image will appear on the capture tool
Step 4. Now to save your screenshot go to File menu> Save as.
Step 5. Finally, another Save as windows will appear.
- Select the location to save
- Change the File name if you want
- Select the File type (PNG, JPEG, GIF, etc.), if necessary
- Click on to save button
With your action above, the screenshot has been saved to the chosen location.
To check it, navigate to the location you selected to save and find the name of the file you saved to.
