Why sit in recovery mode?

How to put iPhone 12/11 / XS / XR / X / 8 in recovery mode

- Drag the slider and turn off your device.
- Press now and hold the

How to put iPhone 7/7 Plus or iPad Touch 7th gen in recovery mode
These iPhones have a home button and to set the recovery mode, you need to follow these steps.
- Turn off your device first, keep the
Sidebutton or the
Topbutton and after a few seconds you will see the “Move to off” screen.
- Slide it to turn off the device.
- If your device is now turned off, press and hold
Volume-Downand then connect it to your computer using a data cable, hold it in place
Volume-downbutton until you see the recovery mode screen.
How to put iPhone 6s or earlier and iPod Touch 6th generation or earlier in recovery mode
- You need the

How to put iPad with Face ID in recovery mode
All iPad models that have the Face ID option can use the steps below to put the iPad in recovery mode.
- First, turn off the device, hold the
Top + Volume-up/downbutton until you see the slide to turn off the screen.
- Swipe the slider to turn off your iPad.
- Now get the data cable from your iPad and connect one end to the computer. After that Keep the
Topbutton and connect your device to the computer, hold the
Topbutton until you see the recovery mode screen.
How to exit recovery mode

First, disconnect the cable or your iPhone or iPad from your computer.
On iPhone 12/11 / XS / XS Max / XR / X / 8, simply press and hold
Side + Volume up/down buttons simultaneously.
