Well, when it comes to connecting to your phone for calls and music, it’s a simple job thanks to the Sound + app. But is pairing the Jabra Elite 75t with a laptop and other devices as easy as always?
Yes, the Jabra Elite 75t is not only intended to be paired with your Android phone (or iPhone). These wireless headphones go incredibly well with laptops, smartwatches, and even MacBooks.
And the best thing is that the headphones can stay connected to two devices at the same time, eliminating the hassle of pairing and repairing every time you switch devices.
In this article, we’ll show you how to pair the Jabra Elite 75t headphones with laptops, MacBooks, and other devices like smartwatches. And if you have a Bluetooth adapter on your PC, you can even associate the heads with it, like I did.
Let’s go, okay?
How to pair the Jabra Elite 75t with a laptop or desktop computer
Step 1: To push the headphones into pairing mode, press and hold the left and right headphone button for about three seconds.
2nd step: On your Windows 10 laptop, open the Settings menu (Win Key + I), go to Device> Bluetooth and other devices, then click the Tap button.
Step 3: Click on the first option to start the analysis. If the headphones are within pairing distance, they will appear on the list.
Now all you have to do is connect to it and stream your favorite songs.
Even if you turn off the laptop / desktop or your headphones, the headphones will automatically pair with your PC or laptop when you remove them from the case, provided you’re within range.
How to pair the Jabra Elite 75t with a MacBook
Pairing the Elite 75T with Macbooks is just as easy and painless.
Step 1: In the status menu, press the AirPods option, which will open the Bluetooth menu.
During this time, press and hold the buttons on both headphones until the LED flashes blue. It takes about 3 seconds.
2nd step: Once the headphones are in pairing mode, they will automatically appear in the Bluetooth menu. Just click the Connect button to pair them.
Now you should be able to listen to music or answer calls.
If you’re ready for some experiences, open the Bluetooth menu and tap Sound Preferences.
Here you can change the output of the right and left earphones.
How to pair the Jabra Elite 75t with the smart watch
Some smart watches like the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and the Fitbit Versa comes with a built-in memory for loading music tracks and a playlist. This removes the hassle of carry your smartphones with you during your races and walks. And the best thing is that you can listen to your favorite songs while your smartwatch records all your fitness data like steps, calories burned, etc.
Most connected watches have different menus. Therefore, the pairing method will vary from device to device. Here we are going to show you how to connect to Samsung smart watches such as Galaxy Watch and Active 2
Here we assume that you have already pushed the buttons in pairing mode.
Step 1: On your watch, open Settings and go to Connection> Bluetooth> BT Headset, then tap Scan.
Once you have located the Elite 75t in the menu, press to connect.
2nd step: Once you have added the songs of your choice, head to the Audio widget. Tap the small icon on the phone to change the mode to watch.
Press the play button to test if it worked.
If you want to exploit the maximum potential of the Jabra Elite 75t, it is best to use it with a mobile device, because the Sound + application brings together a horde of features.
While features like Soundscapes, HearThrough, and the built-in equalizer are popular, there are a few others as well, which improves the overall experience.
Bonus: save the equalizer settings
Of course, the Sound + app comes with around five different equalizer presets such as Bass Boost, Smooth, Energize, etc. But did you know that the application also allows you to save a preset of your choice? Yes, you read correctly.
All you have to do is modify the graphic equalizer to your preferences and save it. And when you want, you can access it via the Sound + app.
To save one, go to the Sound + app and tap the Plus icon next to Music Presets.
Adjust the bars to your liking and press the Save button. It’s simple, see.
Make sure that the default music pause setting when a headset is removed from the ear is very convenient. But if you ask me, I find it a bit boring, especially when I want to listen to songs via a single button.
If you’re like me and want to disable this setting, access the headset settings via the menu at the bottom. Tap Headset settings> Audio experience and turn off the auto pause / resume audio button.
Cool tip: You can change the standby time of the earphones via the headset settings.
Get the most out of your headphones
Over the years, Bluetooth devices have seen several innovations. Besides the longer range, you also get two connections. And the Bluetooth codecs like SBC, aptX and aptX HD add to the fun.
