Finding YouTube Video With Partial ID
I don’t know if this question belongs here, but I think this technique is called fusking, which is relevant to cyber security. Let me know if there’s a better place for it.
It looks like YouTube normally assigns 11 characters to a video ID (e.g. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=**5qap5aO4i9A**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qap5aO4i9A)). Suppose I wanted to find a public video but I was missing just the last two or three characters of the ID. Is there a way to use a script to iterate through all possible combinations of characters to find the video? I remember a similar app for scraping content from Photobucket, but I don’t remember the name of it.
