You may have noticed that sometimes Windows 10 loads a lot of programs when it starts up when it starts up. Having many programs starting up Windows can slow down your system process. Therefore, in this article, we are going to show you the procedure to disable startup programs in Windows 10.
For your reference, whenever a user installs any program or software on Windows 10, most programs are added automatically when Windows 10 starts, which we never use when Windows starts.
As a result, when we turn on the system, it takes a long time. In other words, we can say that it slows down the Windows 10 boot process.
You can easily improve Windows 10 startup time by simply disabling unwanted programs or apps from Windows 10 startup.
Disable Windows 10 startup programs
We are using Windows 10 for this article to show you the steps to disable startup programs.
However, the following steps will work with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 using the same method as given below:
Step 1. Open Windows task manager
There are many ways to launch Windows Task Manager. From now on, you can right click on the Windows task bar and click on the Task manager option. To learn more, see the article below.

2nd step. Click on More details to explore or expand the task manager options.
Step 3. In Windows Task Manager, click Start Tab where you can see a long list of programs enabled for Windows startup.
Now you need to justify the program or application you don’t want when Windows starts.
To disable startup programs in Windows, select the program one by one from the list that you want to stop. Right click above and choose the option Deactivate
Likewise, in the future, if you want any of the programs to be activated, just open Windows task manager -> select the program and right click then select Activate.
