Bluetooth Icon Is Not Showing on Windows 10 in Taskbar / Notification

The Bluetooth icon in the taskbar can be used to quickly connect to the devices. I accidentally deleted the icon and could not find any option in the taskbar settings to bring it back. This is how you can resolve the issue when the Bluetooth icon does not appear in the taskbar or notification on Windows 10. My computer does not have a built-in Bluetooth, but I use a Bluetooth dongle. But this method will also work for built-in Bluetooth.

1. Click the Start button, select Settings from the menu.
2. In the Windows settings, go to the Devices section.
3. Select the one on the left Bluetooth and Other Devices option. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and then click on the one below the related settings at the bottom right or bottom More Bluetooth option.
4. Check the option in the next window Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area.

Show the Bluetooth icon in the action center / notification area

If you do not see the Bluetooth fast action icon here in the action center, you can show it.

1. 1. Right-click anywhere in the action center and select “Edit”
      
   2. Click the Add button and select Bluetooth from the menu.
   3. You will see that the Bluetooth action icon will be added to the list. Click Done to save it.

After adding it to the list of actions, click it to turn it on. You can see the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar.

If you have followed all of the above steps, Bluetooth is turned on, but the icon is still not displayed. Check the Bluetooth driver, right-click the Start button> Device Manager. Remove and reinstall the current Bluetooth driver.
